Saavi Energía’s Acquisition of Tierra Mojada

Cleary Gottlieb represented Credit Suisse as letter of credit provider in connection with Saavi Energía’s acquisition of Tierra Mojada from Spanish company Fisterra Energy and Blackstone.

The letter of credit reimbursement and security agreement was signed and closed on November 7, 2022.

Saavi Energía, a portfolio company of Global Infrastructure Partners, has more than 20 years of experience in generation and sale of electricity. Tierra Mojada is a combined cycle plant with a capacity of 874 megawatts.
