Cleary Gottlieb is representing Sanofi in connection with the divesture of its direct and indirect stake of approximately 19.3% in the Yves Rocher Group to Société Financière des Laboratoires de Cosmétologie Yves Rocher. Upon closing of the transaction, the Rocher family will control more than 95% of the share capital of the Yves Rocher group. The transaction was announced on July 4.
Sanofi, a global and diversified healthcare leader, acquired a stake in the Yves Rocher group in 1973 and had already divested part of its stake in the early 2000s. This transaction ends the long-standing relationship between Sanofi and the Yves Rocher group.
