Cleary Gottlieb represented Banco Santander S.A. (Santander) and Coöperatieve Rabobank U.A. (Rabobank) in their roles as lead arrangers and initial lenders in a $200 million senior secured term loan facility for Camposol S.A. (Camposol).
The loan is secured by certain property, machinery, equipment, and other assets. The proceeds of the loans were used to repay Camposol’s senior notes due 2021. The closing date occurred on December 20, 2018.
Camposol is a Peruvian producer of healthy and fresh produce, including blueberries, avocados, mangoes, and grapes, as well as shrimp.
