Suzano Austria and Suzano Papel e Celulose's $500 Million Notes Offering

Cleary Gottlieb represented Suzano Austria GmbH and Suzano Papel e Celulose S.A. in a Rule 144A/Regulation S offering of $500 million aggregate principal amount of Suzano Austria’s 5.750 percent senior notes due 2026. The notes are guaranteed on a senior unsecured basis by Suzano. The transaction priced on July 7, 2016, and closed on July 14, 2016.
Suzano is one of the largest producers of pulp and paper in Latin America and the second-largest producer of eucalyptus pulp and the fifth-largest producer of market pulp in the world.
