Cleary Gottlieb represented Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited (Temasek) and its affiliates Sidley Investments LLC and Havelock Fund Investments Pte. Ltd., in connection with their follow-on equity investment in Internet Brands, a portfolio company of KKR.
The transaction signed on March 17, 2022, and closed on July 19, 2022. Terms of the transaction were not publicly disclosed.
Cleary Gottlieb also represented Temasek in its original equity investment in Internet Brands in 2014 and follow-on investment in 2017.
Temasek is an investment holding company owned by the Singapore government.
Internet Brands integrates web solutions for businesses with media websites for consumers across various industries, including health, legal, dental, auto, home, and travel. Its portfolio includes WebMD, Avvo, Martindale Hubbell, Medscape, and CarsDirect.
