Total Capital International in $2.0 Billion SEC-registered Note Offering

Cleary Gottlieb acted as counsel to the underwriters in connection with Total Capital International’s SEC-registered offering of $1 billion 1.500% notes guaranteed by Total S.A. due 2017 and $1 billion 2.875% Guaranteed Notes due 2022. The transaction, which closed on February 17, was managed by BofA Merrill Lynch, Credit Suisse and Morgan Stanley.
