Cleary Gottlieb represented TPG in connection with the sale of an equity stake in China International Capital Corp. (CICC) for approximately $307 million.
The transaction closed on April 4, 2019.
CICC was founded in 1995 as China’s first joint-venture investment bank, a China-based investment bank. It is headquartered in Beijing with subsidiaries throughout mainland China.
Cleary advised TPG on its equity investment in CICC in 2010.
