TPG Special Situations Partners and Octavian Advisors in Novel Transaction

Cleary Gottlieb represented TPG Special Situations Partners in connection with a novel transaction with Octavian Advisors, LP and its affiliates (Octavian), a New York-based hedge fund, pursuant to which affiliates of TSSP became the largest investor in, and the general partner and investment manager of, several Octavian funds. The transaction closed on July 22, 2013 following the receipt of requisite consents from Octavian investors.

TSSP is the credit and special situations platform of TPG, a leading global private investment firm.

Octavian is a global investment firm focused on special situations and distressed investments in international markets.
