Cleary Gottlieb is representing TPG in the sale of United Family Healthcare (UFH) by TPG, Fosun, and other existing shareholders to New Frontier Corp., a public investment vehicle sponsored by New Frontier Group, at the valuation of approximately $1.3 billion.
The transaction was signed on July 30, 2019.
UFH is a leading private health care provider offering comprehensive premium health care services in China through the operations of its United Family Hospitals and Clinics, a network of private hospitals and affiliated ambulatory clinics. UFH currently has nine hospitals and in total more than 700 licensed beds in operation or under construction in all four first-tier cities and selected second-tier cities in China.
