Cleary Gottlieb assisted the U.S. Government in the acquisition of a large real estate property for the new headquarters of the U.S. Consulate General in Milan.

This 7-year transaction was among the most complex and important real estate projects in Milan in the last few years, and involved Ministers, public entities (including the Public Property Agency as seller) and a number of local entities (including the Lombardy Region, the Province and the City of Milan).
