Woori Bank in $350 Million Notes Offering

Cleary Gottlieb served as transaction counsel in an offering of $350 million 2.625% senior notes due 2020 by Woori Bank under its $7 billion Global Medium Term Note Programme. Barclays, Commerzbank, Deutsche Bank, HSBC, Nomura and Standard Chartered Bank served as joint bookrunners and joint lead managers for the offering, which priced on January 12 and closed on January 22. The notes were listed on the Singapore Exchange.
Woori Bank, whose shares are listed on NYSE, is one of the largest commercial banks in Korea based on total loans and assets and provides a wide range of products and services to a broad spectrum of customers.
