Woori Bank’s $450 Million Formosa Bond Offering

Cleary Gottlieb represented the dealers in an offering of $450 million floating-rate notes due 2024 by Woori Bank under its $7 billion global medium-term note program.
Citigroup, Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, and Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking served as joint bookrunners for the offering, which priced on May 7, 2019, and closed on May 21, 2019. The notes were listed on the Singapore Exchange and the Taipei Exchange.
Woori Bank is one of the largest commercial banks in Korea based on total loans and assets, and provides a wide range of products and services to a broad spectrum of customers.
