Consequences of Potential SEC Shutdown

If the U.S. federal government shuts down when the current funding resolution expires at midnight on Friday, April 8, the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has announced that it will have only an extremely limited number of staff members available to respond to emergency situations.
