HM Treasury Publishes Independent Report Recommending Introduction of UK GAAR

On December 19, 2011, the London office authored an Alert Memorandum dealing with the publication by HM Treasury, on November 21, 2011, of an independent report recommending the introduction of a narrowly focused General Anti-Avoidance Rule for U.K. tax purposes.
