April 1, 2016

Cleary Gottlieb partnerts Giuseppe Scassellati-Sforzolini and Marco D’Ostuni and senior attorney Luciana Bellia co-authored the Italy chapter in The Public Competition Enforcement Review, eighth edition.

The chapter focuses on the Italian Competition Authority’s approach to antitrust in the country and begins, “Both European and national competition rules are enforced in Italy by the Italian Competition Authority (ICA). The ICA’s antitrust enforcement powers encompass the prohibition on restrictive agreements and abuses of dominant position, as well as merger control.”
