The article, published by the International Bar Association in the Africa-focused edition of its Arbitration Committee’s bulletin, looks at the scope of the protections and remedies that will be provided for both African and foreign investors as a result of the new integrated African Continental Free Trade Area Agreement (AfCFTA). It also explores the potential impact on dispute resolution as a means of protection for those pursuing projects across the continent.
