Christine Jordan’s practice focuses on litigation.

Christine has represented financial institutions, corporations, and individuals in complex litigation before federal and state courts. She has experience in securities and M&A litigation, bankruptcy proceedings, contract and tax disputes, and other commercial litigation matters.

Christine originally joined the firm as a summer associate in 2016. She rejoined Cleary as an associate in 2018 after completing a clerkship.

  • Controlling stockholder of CBS/Viacom in two pending civil class actions filed in Delaware Court of Chancery following ViacomCBS merger.

  • Corporate tenant holding a contractual right of first refusal to purchase a parcel under the Times Square Crowne Plaza building in securing an order of specific performance directing the sale of the disputed parcel to tenant prior to discovery.

  • Ryanair and its CEO in obtaining the dismissal in significant part of a securities class action concerning its labor relations.

  • HSBC Bank and related entities in defending multibillion-dollar actions related to the Madoff Ponzi scheme and the bankruptcy of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities.
