Daniel joined the firm as an associate in 1985, became a partner in 1994, became senior counsel in 2014, and became partner emeritus in 2026.
While partner, Daniel focused on international finance, and also worked in the mergers and acquisitions, joint venture and restructuring areas, and he assumed responsibility for a significant part of the firm’s practice in Russia.
