Edward J. Rosen’s practice includes U.S. and international matters, with a focus on the structuring of complex securities and derivatives transactions, U.S. securities and derivatives regulation and financial product development and documentation.

He advises a broad range of market participants, including trade associations, exchanges, clearinghouses, investment banks, commercial banks, dealers, brokers, electronic trading platforms, money managers, traders, professional intermediaries and end users, in the U.S. and abroad.

Among other clients, he has served as counsel to the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association, the Futures Industry Association, the Financial Markets Lawyers Group, the Global Financial Markets Association, the International Swaps and Derivatives Association, the Institute of International Bankers and The Clearing House Association on various derivatives regulatory matters. He has frequently testified before Congress on topics relating to derivatives and financial market issues

Edward joined the firm in 1982 and became a partner in 1991.
