Elio Maciariello’s practice primarily focuses on EU and Italian competition law.

Elio advises clients in the framework of merger control procedures, and cartel and abuse of dominant position issues. He also has experience in the broader field of European Union law and represents clients in national commercial litigation, and in proceedings before Italian Administrative Courts as well as the Italian Antitrust Authority and the European Commission.

Elio joined the firm in 2020. Prior to joining the firm he worked as an intern at the Tribunal of Bologna, assisting the President of the Section specialized in corporate matters.
