Magda Aref’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, general corporate matters, and equity capital markets transactions, including IPOs, rights offerings, PIPEs, and private placements.
She regularly advises issuers, underwriters, and selling shareholders on primary and secondary equity offerings. Her work encompasses complex cross-border matters across Europe and the Middle East, with a focus on innovative deal structures and capital raising strategies.
Prior to joining Cleary Gottlieb in 2025, she practiced with leading law firms in Zurich and Vienna.
