Peter Simon

Peter Simon’s practice focuses on corporate and financial transactions.

Peter represents investment banks, private equity sponsors, and public and private companies in a wide range of capital markets and merger and acquisition transactions across various industries, including telecommunications, defense and aerospace, entertainment, retail, life sciences, and technology. These transactions include public and private offerings of debt and equity securities, tender and exchange offers, and domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions. In addition, Peter counsels clients on SEC reporting and compliance obligations, as well as other corporate governance and securities law matters.

Prior to beginning his legal career, Peter was a tax accountant in the Alternative Investments practice of a leading global professional services network, advising hedge fund and private equity clients.

Peter joined the firm as an associate in 2025 from another major international law firm. He has also worked in the San Diego and New York offices of Am Law 100 firms, where he represented leading investment and commercial banks on cross-border capital markets and finance transactions involving high-yield and investment grade debt securities, equity offerings, leveraged loans, asset-based financings, bridge loans, and mezzanine financings.
