Rafi Stern

Rafi Stern is Pro Bono Counsel, working with a dedicated team of attorneys and professional staff to manage the firm’s award-winning pro bono practice.

Rafi focuses on corporate and transactional pro bono matters, advising nonprofit organizations, small businesses, and social enterprises.

Prior to joining the firm, Rafi practiced for five years as a staff attorney at Lawyers Alliance for New York, where he provided legal services, as co-counsel to major law firms, to nonprofits serving low-income people in New York City.

During law school, Rafi served as a Pro Bono Scholar at Mobilization for Justice. Prior to law school, he served as a program officer at the Stella and Charles Guttman Foundation and as an NYC Civic Corps AmeriCorps member at Phipps Community Development Corporation.

He has also worked as an associate at another major international law firm and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Margaret Cangilos-Ruiz.

Rafi joined the firm in 2025.
