Sheilah M. Kane uses her extensive complex litigation experience to help the firm’s litigators efficiently provide our clients with work of the highest quality.

Her practice focuses on creating instructive annotated forms and practice guides for discovery and other routine litigation, arbitration and enforcement projects. Sheilah also educates associates new to the litigation practice through a year-long training program on discovery. In addition, she works with the firm’s Knowledge Management Department to develop and implement technology that allows the firm’s lawyers to better leverage each other’s knowledge to promote the full application of the firm’s resources in the best service of our clients’ needs.

As an associate, Sheilah’s previous practice focused on litigating complex commercial litigation, regulatory enforcement proceedings and white-collar criminal defense matters. She has litigated securities class actions, complex bankruptcy adversary proceedings and disputes over commercial agreements. In addition, she has defended clients in investigations involving allegations of insider trading, accounting fraud and securities fraud.

Sheilah joined the firm in 2002 and took the position of Litigation Knowledge Management Attorney in 2008.
