Spyros Drakopoulos’s practice focuses on EU competition law, digital regulation, and complex platform matters.

He advises clients on EU competition law and digital regulation, including investigations under Articles 101 and 102 TFEU, merger control, and matters involving the Digital Markets Act and Digital Services Act.

Spyros joined the firm in 2024. Prior to joining Cleary, Spyros worked on CJEU litigation at the EUIPO in Luxembourg, and previously trained at a leading Athens law firm specializing in public and EU law.

Developed the lecture: “The IP Procedure before the Boards of Appeal of EUIPO, the General Court, and the Court of Justice of the EU,” part of the Procedural EU Law course in the LL.M. program in European Law and Litigation at the University of Luxembourg.
