William B. McGurn joined the firm in 1972 and became a partner in 1981, senior counsel in 2011, and partner emeritus in 2026. He was resident in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office until 1985, in its Paris office until 2001, and in its Rome office until 2011.
While active, William’s practice focused on international litigations and arbitrations and cross-border acquisitions and joint ventures.
