Roger W. Thomas’ practice focuses on general law, particularly international and financial matters.

He has extensive experience in international finance transactions such as debt and equity issues, project finance, syndicated loans, and privatizations in Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Peru and the Dominican Republic. He has also participated in sovereign and private sector debt restructuring.

Roger’s corporate practice in Latin America is distinguished as one of the best in the region by Chambers Global, Chambers USA and Chambers Latin America.

Roger joined the firm in 1964, became a partner in 1973 and became senior counsel in 2008. From 1966 to 1969, Roger served as the project head of economists and lawyers for the Government of Chile.
