A pioneer to the global practice of law, Cleary Gottlieb opened its Paris office in 1949 before almost any of our peers.

As a result, we are often referred to as “the most American of French law firms.” One of the top practices in France, Cleary has significant experience in corporate, tax, securities and antitrust law as well as in litigation and arbitration. We offer our clients premier knowledge of local law and a comprehensive understanding of matters involving multiple jurisdictions.
