Recent technological evolutions are radically reshaping investment consultancy services globally, towards a growing degree of automatization. After a quick introduction to the subject, also from an international perspective, and an overview of the overall risks and benefits linked to the use of artificial intelligence in financial advice, we turned to the regulatory implications of such transformation, together with Consob’s Ms. Nadia Linciano and Ms. Paola Soccorso, coordinators of a few recent publications on the subject by the Italian Commission.
