Cleary Gottlieb represented América Móvil in offering two series of debt securities with an aggregate value of €1.5 billion in early March 2016. Both offerings were SEC-registered takedowns.
On March 7 América Móvil sold €850 million 1.500% Senior Notes due 2024 and €650 million 2.125% Senior Notes due 2028. Both series of notes were issued on March 10 and were listed on Luxembourg’s Euro MTF Market. This was the first Euro-denominated bond offering by a Mexican corporation this year.
