Cleary Gottlieb is representing BestDay and its shareholders in the sale of 100% stake in the Mexican travel agency company to Despegar for $136 million.
The transaction signed on January 27, 2020, and is subject to customary closing conditions, including the approval of the relevant antitrust authorities.
BestDay is one of the largest travel agencies in Mexico, operating through a cross-platform business model (business to consumer and business to business), while also providing ground transportation and tour activities services.
Despegar is the leading online travel company in Latin America.
