Cleary Gottlieb represented affiliates of Brookfield, as owner and borrower, in connection with the $2.4 billion mortgage financing of Ala Moana Center in Honolulu by a syndicate of banks led by Morgan Stanley.

The Ala Moana Mall is generally regarded as the most valuable mall in America. The transaction closed on April 1, 2022.
