Cleary Gottlieb served as underwriters’ counsel for British Telecommunications plc’s offering of $600 Million 1.625% Senior Notes due 2016 under its shelf registration statement. The Joint Lead Managers for the offering were BNP Paribas Securities, Citigroup Global Markets, Deustche Bank Securities, HSBC Securities (USA) and RBS Securities. The offering closed on June 28, 2013.
