Cleary Gottlieb once again has been recognized for its leading work in Latin America. The firm was involved in two matters that won deal of the year awards at Latin Lawyer’s annual dinner on March 20 in São Paulo, including for the landmark OGX restructuring in Brazil and the financing for the construction and operation of the Ramones II Sur natural gas pipeline in Mexico.
Cleary also was named among the top firms in the region in the publication’s annual Latin Lawyer 250, published earlier this month. Noting that “remaining at the top of your game for decades is no easy feat,” Latin Lawyer acknowledged Cleary’s transactional and dispute resolution strengths among the reasons clients time and again look to the firm to handle their most high-profile, complex matters.
