Cleary Gottlieb Honored for Advising on Latin Lawyer’s Restructuring Deal of the Year

Cleary Gottlieb was recognized for advising on a Latin Lawyer “Deal of the Year” for 2013. The winning deal was the Restructuring Deal of the Year: Vitro restructuring (counsel to Fintech, Vitro’s largest creditor). Latin Lawyer announced the winners of its “Deals of the Year” awards during its annual charity dinner, held at the Hotel Unique in São Paulo on March 27th.

In addition, the firm was recognized as counsel to Highstar Capital and Grupo Aeroportuario del Sureste in Puerto Rico’s airport bid, and for representing Coca-Cola FEMSA in its acquisition of a majority stake in Coca-Cola Bottlers Philippines, both short-listed for Outbound Investment Deal of the Year.
