Cleary Gottlieb’s London office welcomed five undergraduate students for a one-week work experience placement from August 2-6 as part of City Solicitors Horizons.
City Solicitors Horizons is a social mobility initiative supporting undergraduates in the United Kingdom aspiring to a career in law. Cleary volunteers mentor the students throughout their undergraduate degree, offering a one-week work experience placement to provide first-hand experience of working in a top international law firm.
Cleary is one of the founding members of City Solicitors Horizons, having participated in the project since 2015. The initiative provides a unique opportunity for students to prepare for forthcoming law firm applications and vacation schemes. Previous Cleary mentees have been able to secure training contracts at leading law firms in London.
