Cleary Gottlieb Partner Abena Mainoo Named 2020 ‘Notable Woman in Law’ by Crain’s

Cleary Gottlieb partner Abena Mainoo has been named among the 2020 “Notable Women in Law” by Crain’s New York Business.

Abena was recognized for advising clients on cross-border investigations and civil litigation involving allegations of fraud, sanctions violations, and foreign corrupt payments. Crain’s also noted her active pro bono practice, which focuses on civil rights and immigration cases. She participates in mentoring programs at Cleary, including those focused on diversity.

The 2020 list of “Notable Women in Law” celebrates talented female attorneys in the New York City metropolitan area for their achievements in the law, leadership, and commitment to the community.
