Cleary Gottlieb partner Alexis Collins appeared on C-SPAN’s Washington Journal  for an interview on domestic terrorism threats in the U.S.

The segment, hosted by John McArdle, explored the January 6, 2021, breach at the U.S. Capitol building, the legal definition of domestic terrorism, Alexis’ role as an adjunct senior fellow at the Center for a New American Security, and viewer questions about the risks and categorization of domestic terror.

After joining Cleary in 2001, Alexis joined the U.S. Department of Justice in 2003, where she served in numerous positions, including most recently as counsel to the Assistant Attorney General for National Security. She returned to Cleary in 2015 and became partner in 2019.
