Shuang Zhao and Denise Shiu Named to China Business Law 2022 A-List

Cleary Gottlieb partners Shuang Zhao and Denise Shiu have been named to China Business Law Journal’s 2022 A-List: China’s Elite Lawyers.

Shuang was recognized for her work in capital markets, corporate governance, M&A, and technology, media, and telecommunications. Denise was recognized for her work in international M&A, private equity, inbound and outbound investments, and venture and capital funds.

The publication’s selection of 270 elite private practice lawyers involved in China-related business includes 150 practitioners of Chinese law and 120 international lawyers.

The A-List is based on extensive research conducted by China Business Law Journal and includes feedback from thousands of in-house counsel in China and around the world as well as partners at Chinese and international law firms.
