Cleary Gottlieb Pro Bono Attorney Katherine Hughes has been named to New York Law Journal’s list of 2020 Trailblazers.

Katherine’s profile highlights her career journey to her current role at Cleary. She leads the firm’s pro bono efforts to address the legal needs of nonprofit organizations, small businesses, and social enterprises. During the coronavirus pandemic, she has been at the forefront of the firm’s efforts to support economically impacted small businesses and nonprofits. Katherine noted that at the outset of the pandemic, “The legal focus was initially on immediate triage and, as the pandemic and economic crisis has evolved, turned toward supporting these clients through the longer-term impacts in our vastly changed world.”
