Cleary Gottlieb Provides Pro Bono Legal Advice to Startup Social Entrepreneurs

Cleary Gottlieb associates, in partnership with the Centre for Social Innovation, led an educational workshop and provided pro bono legal consults for startup social entrepreneurs in New York City.

Associates Brinkley Rowe and Jae Ryu delivered the presentation, “Build Your Own Runway: Fundraising and Investor Agreements for Early-Stage Businesses,” and, along with Josephine Oshiafi and Katherine Hughes, provided one-on-one legal consultations to participants.

Cleary counsel Andrea Basham also played an integral role in helping the associates prepare for the event.

The Centre for Social Innovation is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that supports social entrepreneurs and provides its members with the tools to accelerate their success and amplify their impact.
