June 26, 2019

Cleary Gottlieb earned a spot as a top 30 firm in The American Lawyer’s annual National Pro Bono Rankings.

In 2018, Cleary lawyers dedicated over 90,000 hours to pro bono legal and public service and served more than 700 pro bono clients, 200 of which were new to the firm.

The list ranks Am Law 200 firms with a pro bono score for work performed by U.S.-based lawyers. This score is calculated based on the average number of pro bono hours per lawyer and the percentage of lawyers who performed more than 20 hours of pro bono work in 2018.
