Cleary Gottlieb has been shortlisted for The Law Society’s “Excellence in Pro Bono” award for contributions to the FGM Model Law project with 28 Too Many, TrustLaw, and other international law firms.
The FGM Model Law is a resource that assists policy-makers, NGOs, and activists in the development of comprehensive legislative frameworks to protect women and girls in jurisdictions where female genital mutilation (FGM) is still practiced. The FGM Model Law can be downloaded here.
