Cleary Gottlieb Wins Benchmark Litigation Bankruptcy Impact Case of the Year

As part of another outstanding year for Cleary Gottlieb’s global bankruptcy and restructuring practice, the firm was recognized at the ninth annual Benchmark Litigation Awards with an Impact Case of the Year award for advising ESL and Eddie Lampert as the largest shareholder and creditor (with over $2.8 billion in claims) in the Sears Holdings Chapter 11 proceedings.
