Cleary Gottlieb has been recognized for advising long-standing client United Technologies Corporation (UTC) on the antitrust aspects of its $30 billion acquisition of Rockwell Collins, Inc., which won a Global Competition Review (GCR) Merger Control Matter of the Year award.
The deal combined UTC Aerospace Systems with Rockwell Collins, a leader in aviation and high-integrity solutions for commercial and military customers, to form a new unit called Collins Aerospace Systems.
