Cleary Gottlieb received the Capital Markets Deal of the Year award at International Tax Review’s Americas Tax Awards 2018.
The firm, in conjunction with Creel García-Cuéllar Aiza y Enríquez, Jones Day, Muñoz Manzo y Ocampo, and Paul Hastings, was honored for representing the Mexican Ministry of Communications and Transportation and its subsidiaries Grupo Aeroportuario de la Ciudad de Mexico, S.A. de C.V. (GACM) and Aeropuerto Internacional de la Ciudad de Mexico, S.A. de C.V., in a $1.5 billion offering of trust certificates to finance the construction and development of the new Mexico City International Airport.
