Cleary Gottlieb Wins Three 2019 Latin Lawyer Deal of the Year Awards

Latin Lawyer has lauded Cleary Gottlieb for advising on three 2019 Deal of the Year Award winners.

The winners are:

• M&A (Public) Deal of the Year: Suzano and Fibria’s merger, creating a worldwide pulp leader.
• Capital Markets Deal of the Year: Chile’s issuance of Latin America’s first green sovereign bonds.
• Restructuring Deal of the Year: Constellation oil group’s US$1.5 billion global restructuring.

Latin Lawyer selected 10 top deals from among more than 400 nominations, celebrating “truly novel legal work” on matters in the region.
