Cleary Gottlieb represented Compañía Minera del Pacífico, a subsidiary of Chile’s largest iron ore producer, CAP S.A., in a revolving loan transaction with The Bank Of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, as Administrative Agent, BTMU, HSBC Bank USA, National Association, HSBC Securities (USA), Mizuho Bank, SG Americas Securities and Société Générale, as Lenders, and BTMU, HSBC Securities (USA), Mizuho Bank and SG Americas Securities, as a Joint Lead Arrangers and Joint Bookrunners. The financing consists of a $350 million revolving credit facility with an option to increase revolving commitments by an additional $100 million. The transaction signed on April 16, 2014.
