Cleary Gottlieb recently represented Empresa Nacional del Petróleo (ENAP), Chile’s largest hydrocarbon producer and the country’s only petroleum product refiner, in a $300 million term loan transaction with Bank of America, as Administrative Agent, Citibank, International Banking Facility, Bank of America, Scotiabank & Trust (Cayman) and JPMorgan Chase Bank, as Lenders, and Citibank, J.P. Morgan Securities, Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated and The Bank of Nova Scotia as joint bookrunners and lead arrangers. The loan matures in 2015. The transaction closed on November 13, 2012.
