Jennifer Kroman Wins Penn Law Alumni Society’s 2018 Howard Lesnick Pro Bono Award

Cleary Gottlieb Director of Pro Bono Practice Jennifer Kroman was selected as the recipient of the Penn Law School Alumni Society’s 2018 Howard Lesnick Pro Bono Award.
Jennifer was recognized for her twenty-five year commitment to pro bono, including her leadership of the firm’s pro bono practice and her representation of dozens of survivors of human trafficking and gender violence.
“I feel incredibly fortunate to work with my Cleary colleagues each day to represent low income individuals, assist nonprofits in fulfilling their important missions, and protect civil rights and liberties,” said Jennifer. “I am deeply honored to have been selected as the 2018 Howard Lesnick Pro Bono Award recipient and I look forward to continuing to do my part to work toward equal access to justice for all.”
The Howard Lesnick Pro Bono Award recipient is chosen by the Penn Law Alumni Society’s Board of Managers and presented each year to a Penn Law alumnus/a who embodies the spirit of the public service program through a sustained commitment to pro bono and public service throughout a private-sector career.
